Wal-Mart Stores, Inc (NYSE:WMT) shows to be boosting its relationship with Green Dot Corporation (NYSE:GDOT). Doubts regarding whether Wal-Mart will renew its deal with Green Dot after their deal expires in 2015 has been a fear for Green Dot shareholders. However, its higher involvement does not promise the deal will be renewed, it shows Wal-Mart is boosting linkages with Green Dot by removing a middleman from its card program.

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) last session’s volume of 6.73 million shares was lower than its average volume of 7.49 million shares. The stock, after opening at $76.28, hit a high price of $76.65 and then closed at $75.75 by scoring -0.76%.

Green Dot Corporation (NYSE:GDOT), on June 10 2013, increased +10.07%, to the closing price of $19.34. The overall volume in the last trading session was 568,758 shares. Its fifty two weeks range was $9.05 – $24.97. The total market capitalization remained at $699.07 million.

IHS Inc (NYSE:IHS) intends to purchase R.L. Polk & Co. (POLL), owner of the used-car shopping service, Carfax, in a $1.4 billion cash-and-stock agreement. Shares of business-information provider IHS moved up around 2.85%, to settle at $109.99.

IHS Inc. (NYSE:IHS) gained +2.85%, reaching at $109.99 after hovering between $107.91 and $112.32. This stock is ahead of its 52-week low 32.49% and lagging behind its 52-week high price -7.52%. IHS’s last month’s stock price volatility remained 14.57%.

Electronics giant, Sony Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:SNE), declared on Monday it will price its new PlayStation 4 at $399 for its launch this fall. That challenges the $499 launch price of the competitor console, Xbox One, from software giant Microsoft.

With a recent gain of +2.81%, to $20.11, the share price of Sony Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) has moved down from its 20 days moving average -0.87% and positively from its 50 days moving average 10.39%.

Shares of KapStone Paper and Packaging Corp (NYSE:KS) surged over 17% on Monday, following the news that it has decided to a $1.03 billion cash acquisition of Longview Fibre Paper & Packaging Inc, an agreement that will lift KapStone’s exposure in the containerboard unit.

KapStone Paper and Packaging Corp. (NYSE:KS) increased +17.90%, to the closing price of $35.04. The stock showed weekly upbeat performance of 20.04%, which was maintained for the month at 20.29%. Likewise, the positive performance for the quarter was recorded as 26.41% and for the year was 142.49%, while the YTD performance remained at 57.91%.

Clearwater Paper Corp (NYSE:CLW) last session’s volume of 122,512 shares was lower than its average volume of 128,105 shares. The stock, after opening at $48.96, hit a high price of $49.58 and then closed at $49.54 by scoring +1.47%.

With a recent loss of -0.13%, to $45.56, the share price of International Paper Company (NYSE:IP) has moved down from its 20 days moving average -2.47% and positively from its 50 days moving average -2.11%.
